Our Mission

As a fellowship of United Methodists we work to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World.  We take the Bible seriously and appreciate that it is best interpreted in the context of tradition, experience and reason.  We have an intentional emphasis to those who are often marginalized and have been intentionally reconciling to LGBTQ individuals since 1996. Each Sunday we affirm that we are each, “A beloved child of God and a beauty to behold".

Our Vision

Vancouver Heights United Methodist Church is a community of people sharing opportunities for spiritual growth and leadership in the church and individually. We are called to lead people to Christ and nurture them physically, emotionally and spiritually. We are called to a life of service, working to eliminate injustice and making a positive difference in the world.
