SPR - Staff / Pastor-Parish Relations
SPR-Staff/Pastor-Parish Relations serves as a vital liaison between the congregation, appointed pastors, and church staff. Its primary responsibilities include supporting and caring for staff, evaluating their ministry effectiveness, recommending personnel policies, and acting as a counsel in matters of compensation, spiritual renewal, and professional development. The SPRC also plays a key role in recruiting and evaluating candidates for ministry, promoting unity within the church, and interpreting the nature and function of ministry within the UMC to the congregation.
